OUR EXPERIENCES
The Manor House is a 14th-century country-house hotel nestled in the idyllic Cotswold village of Castle Combe, Wiltshire. Its storied walls, Italian gardens, and 365 acres of parkland evoke quintessential English countryside. It offers 50 character-rich bedrooms, suites, and mews cottages - think four-poster grandeur, private hot tubs, and original wooden beams. There's also 12 rooms available at The Castle Inn pub in the heart of the village. Culinary delight comes courtesy of Bybrook, the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, while lush lounges and The Castle Inn pub offer a more relaxed, comforting fare. For leisure, guests can wander Italian gardens, play croquet or tennis, tackle our GEO certified 18-hole championship golf course, take a Cotswold walk or curl up by the fire with a book.

OUR IMPACT
At The Manor House, impact is measured in meaningful action. Since becoming a B Corp in 2021, we’ve committed to going carbon positive by 2026, already cutting energy use by switching to induction hobs and upgrading boilers, while targeting a 3% annual reduction in water usage. Through biodiversity mapping with Land App, we’re enhancing natural habitats and increasing carbon sequestration across our estate. Each year, we donate 2% of profits to charities like Hospitality Action, Protect Earth, Bug Life, and CALM, while supporting our people through apprenticeships, graduate programmes, and our Chefs’ Academy. In 2023 alone, we redistributed surplus food with OLIO, saving 1,236kg of CO₂ and feeding 45 households. From our locally sourced, carbon-labelled menus to refillable in-room amenities and glass milk bottles, we’re proving that luxury hospitality and positive impact can thrive together.

What accommodations do you make for people living with disabilities?
It’s our goal to welcome all guests to The Manor House and make sure that the entire hotel is accessible to everybody. All public areas are accessible by wheelchair and we have a dedicated accessible toilet. One of our beautiful Cosy rooms has been adapted with handrails, an accessible shower and a low-level basin. A fridge can also be put in any room for medication. Our teams will always discuss any accessibility needs with our guests to provide the best stay possible.
